River Report

The fishing on The Deerfield has been phenomenal this winter with most trips producing double digits to the net. Water temps have been consistently 38 degrees-F and the fish are taking everything we throw at them from mops, p-tails, stone flies, hare’s ear, squirmy worms, and streamers big or small. You can’t go wrong out here right now!

We are also offering 2 for the price of 1 discounted winter float rates specific to the Deerfield River.

The Hoosic has been fishing consistently well with reasonable numbers to the net and a couple beautiful mature fish per trip. Big stone flies under indicators, cray fish patterns on the tight-line rig, and meaty streamers on a sink line have been doing the most work. February will be here soon enough and that’s our favorite month to be fishing over there!
